Who is Albus Dumbledore?

Albus Dumbledore is a rockstar in the wizarding world. Born in the late 19th century, he used to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And just like Harry, he was sorted into the House of Gryffindor.
He eventually became headmaster of Hogwarts, founded the Order of the Phoenix and defeated Grindelwald, who used to be his close friend. Unfortunately, Grindelwald succumbed to darkness and in an epic duel, Dumbledore had to put him in his place, a prisoner at Nurmengard.
But more than his many accomplishments, what made Dumbledore a prominent figure beloved by many is his values and wisdom. He’s fair, kind and he’s a mentor and protector to Harry. Even after his death, his legacy lives on. His character offers hope and his wisdom serves as guidance. It’s safe to say, Harry Potter’s story wouldn’t be as phenomenal without him.
